Allison Janney Latest News, Picture and Biography


Allison Janney born on November 19,1959 to a jazz musician and areal estate developer Jervis Spencer Janney and former actress Macy Brooks is an Emmy award winning actress. Born in Dayton Ohio as an aspiring Olympic skater Allison Janney is currently a reputable actress a dream that was suggested to her by a legend screen Paul Newman during her acting in a school play.

She graduated from Kenyon college in 1982 where she attended an acting career.She was persuaded to join a Playhouse school of theater in New York city by Paul Newman and her wife Joanne Woodward who played a role as her mentor.Woodward also coupled as her stage production director. Other than acting, she has earned accolades for roles in stage production and on many screen supporting roles.

She has won four Emmys as a result of her seven year leading role on the acclaimed series The West Wing (1999) as press secretary C.J Cregg. Early in her career Janney got her comedic role in As the World Turns a soap opera (1952) and Guiding light (1952). Later on in the year 1999 she performed in trio movies on supporting roles namely American Beauty, 10 Things I Hate About You and Drop Dread Gorgeous among other memorable movies.

Allison Jenney has recently taken on the 2017 press reprising her role as a press secretary in West Wing movie.She has also confessed that as she make her Broadway return she have been goggling her nervous system and whom she shares with.This has made her build build a large following for her smart and heartfelt connection with her audience.She recently found comfort in the fact that she shares similar special things with the late Sir Olivier on acting.

She says that acting is her passion and she always feel connected on stage with the audience or acting with another actor.
