Introduction

Julie Benz is a popular American actress who is known and liked all over the world for her performances and versatile acting skills. She was born on 1 May in the years 1972 in the city of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, America. Her father is a surgeon in Pittsburgh and her mother Joanne Marie was a popular figure skater. Julie M. Benz grew up in Murrysville. She got her education from the Franklin Regional High School. She started ice skating when she was only three years old. In the year 1998, she competed in U.S Championship in junior ice dancing along with her skating partner David Schilling and finished her skating in the 13th place. 


Career


A very interesting thing about Julie is that when she was just 15 years old, her teacher told her that she will never be an actor because her voice is moribund, but, in response, Julie said that "I will show" and she successfully exposed to her teacher as she is a successful actress now. In the year 1989, she was involved in the local theater and played a small speaking part in "The Black Cat". She is popularly known for her role as Darla on Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel and Rita Bennett on Dexter. She performed a wonderful role in the series, Roswell, Desperate, Housewives, No Ordinary family, A gifted man, Defiance and in Hawaii five. Her excellent role in films includes Jawbreaker, The brothers, Rambo, Saw V, Punisher, War Zone, and Bedrooms. All Saint day and Boondock stains II are her vulnerable performances.

In the year 2006, she won the Satellite award for best-supporting actress. In the year 2009, she won the Saturn award again for best-supporting actress.
